British Museum: Free event (5pm-8pm) exploring and celebrating LGBTQ+ histories, identities and stories from the British Museum collection. Book a timed ticket for entry. Website

1 July 2022

British Museum: Over The Rainbow – A Queer Tour of The British Museum, hosted by tour guides and queer historians Sacha and Sheldon. Tickets

Pre-Pride Extravaganza: At the Bethnal Green Working Man’s Club, from 8.30pm. Hosted by Ms Sharon Le Grand, with Queer House Party, Frieda Slaves, Baby, Boyz, Adam Zmith and more. Website

The Grand’s Pre-Pride Party: At The Clapham Grand, from 7pm. Hosted by the fabulous The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Tia Kofi. Website

The Rimmers at the Standard: Pride celebrations at the fancy Standard hotel in King’s Cross. Cocktail bar Sweeties will be taken over by The Rimmers, a spin-off of popular queer night Buttmitzvah. Website

2 July 2022

Pride in London Parade (from 12 noon): The main event for Pride celebrations in London, and a biggie as it’s the 50th Anniversary of UK Pride. Check out the parade route map here, but it starts at Hyde Park – where the first Pride picnic happened in 1972, and then goes from Hyde Park Corner down Piccadilly to Piccadilly Circus, and then turns south onto Haymarket and Trafalgar Square. The parade kicks off from Hyde Park at 12 noon, with the grandstand on Haymarket opening from 11am. Website

Pride in London Stages (from 12 noon): As in previous years, four fabulous stages will be set up in the West End for Pride in London 2022. The main stage is in Trafalgar Square, headlined by Ava Max with Emeli Sandé and Samantha Mumba plus more. The Golden Square stage will feature Cat Burns and Siena Liggins. The Dean Street stage is set to be headlined by Justin Vivian Bond. The Leicester Square stage is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary artists. Website

Pride of the Royal Opera House: Running 2 July (SOLD OUT), 7 July, 16 July, 24 July. Join this backstage tour of the Royal Opera House, exploring the rich contributions made by the LGBTQ+ icons who have helped shape The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera. Tickets

Southern Comfort pop-up slushie bar (from 12 noon): Southern Comfort is popping up at 55 Dean Street in Soho on the 2nd, bringing a bit of New Orleans to London to celebrate Pride. Expect slushie cocktails including the iconic NOLA daquiri, plus entertainment from pop icon Nicola Roberts, DJ Raven Mandella and drag queens Taylor Trash and Soroya Marchelle. From 12pm – 7pm.

The Pride LGBTQ+ Boat Party (from 1pm): Sailors beware as Pride sets sail on the Thames for a three hour session from 1pm to 4.30pm. Promising all the best Pride anthems and classics, plus live musicians and dancers, the boat leaves from Tower Millennium Pier. Tickets

Ministry of Sound’s Pride Day (from 2pm): Names include Joshua James, Raw Silk, Shav Malt, Chris Brogan, Rossi Forde, Josh Harrison, Jarred Baker and Darling Peter, with performances from Amy Adele, Ashley Reece, Cain, Matthew Miller Jones, Reece Daniels and Shaquille. At Ministry of Sound, from 2pm to 10pm. Website

Tanner Warehouse Pride Celebration (from 5pm): Bermondsey Street bar and restaurant Tanner Warehouse near London Bridge is hosting a 50 years of pride celebration. From 5pm to midnight. Booking. Website

Nazar at the Southbank (from 5pm): A joyous Pride party of DJs and performances at the Southbank Centre’s Riverside Terrace, hosted by East London queer night Hungama and queer SWANA collective Nafs Space. Website

Horse Meat Disco at the Roundhouse (from 5pm): Celebrating 50 years of Pride, the infamous Horse Meat Disco people take over the Roundhouse in Camden, hosted Hosted by Lavinia Co-Op, with performances from Lucy Fizz, Tete Bang, Finn Love, Yung Reenie, Prinx Silver, Ashraf, Kaiden, Dak Attack and more. Exilio (from 6pm): The LGBTQ+ Latinx dance club hits Jerusalem Bar and Kitchen in Soho for this post-Parade after-party. From 6pm to 3am. Website

Pride Pro Wrestling 2022 (from 7pm): Yes, really! From 7pm at 229 on Great Portland Street, this event is billed as the UK’s first LGBTQ+ inclusive pro wrestling show! Website

Brown Suga Alternative Pride Party (from 8pm): New multi-disciplinary space Glass House in Shoreditch is hosting Brown Suga on Pride weekend, welcoming QTIPOC, queer women, non-binary and trans people for this alternative Pride party. 8pm to 3am. Website

UOKHUN? at the Standard (from 8pm): The Double Standard bar hosts south London collective UOKHUN? Website

Duckie: Straight Pride/Gay Shame (from 9pm): The Duckie posse is back with the “Gay Shame” on Pride day – apparently for one last time! Ironic, irreverent, and with performances from Bourgeois & Maurice, Thick & Tight, Amerika, compered by Amy Lamé, plus DJs a go-go. At the Vauxhall Tavern from 9pm to 4am. Website

Homostash at Colours (from 9.30pm): Fab Homotash takes over Colours in Hoxton across two floors for a part techno, part disco night, including DJs Tafkanik and Antonio Mingot. Website

Future Disco: Dance Club – Pride Party (from 10pm): Another big party from the Future Disco people to celebrate pride, running at Number 90 in Hackney Wick. Website

Power Bottoms Pride After Party (from 10.30pm): At the White Swan from 10.30pm to 4am, featuring DJs, Drag and Dancing! Website

LICK – London Pride (from 11pm): At the O2 Forum Kentish Town. Website

HE.SHE.THEY. (from 11pm): Fabric is the place for this mega-rave from queer partyers HE.SHE.THEY. House, techno, inclusivity, experimentation, with Anna Wall and Taahliah among the DJs. 11pm to 6am. Website

Gal Pals – London Pride (from 11pm): At Lafayette, this queer dance party for women, trans and non-binary people will be playing the best in female-fronted pop, hip-hop, r&b and queer anthems. Website

Egg LDN Pride Special (from 11pm): An inclusive local and International cast of DJs and performers are being brough together for their Pride Special all-nighter, including Berlin’s stellar Boris, Parisian hard techno DJ & Producer Cassie Raptor, Pagano’s wild ‘OFF LDN’ crew do a takeover, and hot mess queer rave Uokhun. From 11pm to super late at Egg LDN in Kings Cross. Website

WE Pink – Pride 2022 (from 11pm): At the Electric Brixton, from 11pm to 6am, from the fabulous WE Pink people. Expect legendary DJs, gorgeous gogos and more! Website

Jungle Kitty at the Standard: Jungle Kitty serve up Afrobeats, dancehall, house and more on the roof terrace of the Standard Hotel. Website
