Award-winning play Moment of Grace returns to London, telling the powerful story of the moment Princess Diana famously shook hands with an AIDS patient.
The moment changed the public’s perception of AIDS, and in the 35th anniversary year of it happening, Moment of Grace is being staged at the Hope Theatre in Islington for a three week run.
Written by Bren Gosling (PROUD, King’s Head Theatre; Invisible Me, Studio at New Wimbledon Theatre; I, Minnie Lansbury, Bloomsbury Festival), who is HIV positive and survived an AIDS diagnosis in the 90s, his heartfelt production is based on personal testimonies and material from the National HIV Story Trust.
Directed by Su Gilroy, this one act play showcased to acclaim at Bloomsbury Festival 2018 and in 2020 won the NO: INTERMISSION International One Act Play Competition.
