Winners of this year’s Edinburgh Fringe First, New York artists Chloe Rice and Natasha Roland hit London for a 4 week run of their acclaimed new queer comedy And Then the Rodeo Burned Down.

It certainly ain’t their first rodeo when this pair of clowns are trapped in a time-loop!

Billed as a ‘vaudevillian thriller and a queer cowboy Waiting for Godot’ (The Scotsman), this thrilling, joyful and heart-wrenching show comes direct from New York to make its London debut at the Kings Head Theatre in Islington.

This meta-theatrical adventure is packed with boots, chaps and cowboy hats in an hour-long tale of arson. Can they finally work it all out and get a happy ending (if it’s worth saving at all)?

Scored, like any modern-day Western, by Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Miley Cyrus, And Then the Rodeo Burned Down is a physical comedy and clowning spectacular that will leave you questioning the true events of this rodeo, just like the characters trapped inside of it.

‘A delightfully queer, sexy and foolish mix of clowning, physical theatre and dance’ ★★★★★ The Skinny

‘Rice and Roland’s tender, tactile clowning is a tumbling joy to watch’ ★★★★ The Scotsman

And Then the Rodeo Burned Down runs at the King’s Head Theatre from 17 January to 11 February 2023.
