Winner of the VAULT Festival Origins Award, Dumbledore Is So Gay is about coming of age, coming out, and the joys and trials of being a fan boy.
This nostalgic homage to Harry Potter, and the trials and tribulations of coming out in the early 2000’s, is written by Robert Holtom, and boasts a cast that includes EastEnders’ Alex Britt as Jack, Charlotte Dowding (Wind and the Willows) as Gemma and Martin Sarreal (Tammy Faye, Corrina Corrina, Sin), as Ollie.
Directed by Tom Wright, Dumbledore Is So Gay is playing at Southwark Playhouse Borough in London from 16 August to 23 September 2023.
