Check out what’s on at this weekend’s London Gay Pride 2014
This Saturday (28 June 2014) is London’s LGBT+ Pride event – including a parade through Central London and performances on a number of stages including Trafalgar Square.
Here’s our quick, handy guide to what’s on this weekend.
THE PARADE
The gay Parade will run through central London for 2 kilometres. You can join the parade at the start or at any point during the route. Or find a good spot and take it all in, including marching bands, singers and a huge number of floats.
START TIME: The parade leaves Baker Street at 1pm on Saturday.
THE ROUTE: Starting at Baker Street, the parade will head down Baker Street to Oxford Street, then head east along Oxford Street to Oxford Circus. It then goes down Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, down Lower Regent Street, along Pall Mall and Cockspur Street, through Trafalgar Square and into Whitehall, where the Parade ends.
