A traditional East End boozer that has become the most understated place to be hip.
A mixed, mainly male crowd combines East End gays who have been there way before the hipsters moved in, to a wealth of trendy young men (and pretty much all with beards!)
It makes for an atmosphere that is self-conscious but still friendly…. which is kind of how you could describe Shoreditch.
