Hit The Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon gets a well-deserved West End transfer.

The Kinks are one of the biggest bands to come out of the Sixties with their legendary songs including “You Really Got Me”, “Dedicated Follower of Fashion” and “Waterloo Sunset”.

And now a new musical charts the band’s meteoric rise to stardom, including that of front-man Ray Davies.

After a sell-out run at Hampstead Theatre this rocking good musical comes to the West End featuring the songs of Ray Davies and The Kinks and a book by award-winning playwright Joe Penhall (Blue/Orange).

  1. Just seen the show last night and it’s absolutely wonderful, funny, witty, sad, touching and wonderfully acted by all.
My son who is 30 loved the show too, suits all ages.
    Brilliant

  2. Totally mesmerized by the songs and the talented actors who gave an astounding performance. The songs especially Too Much On My Mind and I Go To Sleep took my breath away.

  3. I took my Dad and Mum to see it, my Dad cried listening to Sitting in My Hotel and Days, My mum laughed and cried then danced in the aisles. Fantastic show we came down from Liverpool – Fantastic experience.
