The Commitments is a riotous, soul-filled musical night at the theatre

Based on Alan Parker’s hit film, The Commitments has hit the stage of the Palace Theatre in an unstoppable, fun and big-hearted night out.

Adapted by Roddy Doyle from his book and directed by award winning Jamie Lloyd (Urinetown), The Commitments follows Jimmy Rabbitte, a young working class music fan who cobbles together the most unlikely group of amateur musicians to create music magic.

The show is packed with 20 brilliant soul songs Night Train, Try A Little Tenderness, River Deep, Mountain High, In The Midnight Hour, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Save Me, Mustang Sally, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Reach Out, Uptight, Knock On Wood, I Can’t Turn You Loose AND MANY MORE.

An hilarious, riotous night out.

★★★★ “THIS HUGELY ENJOYABLE SHOW TOUCHES THE SUBLIME. WONDERFULLY FUNNY” Daily Telegraph
