Exhibition / Coming Soon: Noël Coward: Art & Style is a glamorous new exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery in the City of London.
It celebrates the dazzling visual side of famous gay playwright Noel Coward’s life and work, by taking a fresh look at the world Coward created. The exhibition brings together never-before-seen materials from the Coward Archive, demonstrating the enormous impact that he and his creative circle had on the fashion and culture of his time, and how his legacy and influence still resonate today.
It’s worth noting that the Guildhall Art Gallery – which is free to enter – makes a great visit even without Noel Coward, packed with an impressive collection, plus a subterranean view of the original Roman walls of the city.
Also, check out this Christie’s auction from 2020 that sold off a range of Coward’s possessions.
