Theatre / From 18 June 2021: Nick Payne’s smash-hit, heart breaking romance Constellations is returning to the West End this summer. And it’s back with a twist, featuring four different casts through its run.
One of the pairings features a gay couple for the first time, with Omari Douglas, Roscoe from Channel 4’s It’s a Sin, and the Looking and Years and Years star Russell Tovey, performing the show from 30 July to 11 September.
The full cast pairs are: Sheila Atim (Harlots) and Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans) from 18 June to 1 August; Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who) and Zoë Wanamaker (My Family) from 23 June to 24 July; Omari Douglas and Russell Tovey from 30 July to 11 September; and Anna Maxwell Martin (Line of Duty) and Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids) from 6 August to 12 September.
Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Longhurst returns to direct his Royal Court, West End and Broadway hit, which received international acclaim and won the Evening Standard Award for Best Play.
